Privacy Policy

Last updated October 7, 2026

This policy explains what information Wove collects, why, and what choices you have. It covers our website, the Wove app used by sales teams and their reps, and the verifications homeowners take part in. If you’re a homeowner, our homeowner notice explains the same things more briefly.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

1Who we are and our role

Wove provides software to companies that sell in person. When a company uses Wove to record its reps’ conversations or verify its deals, that company decides what is recorded and why, and Wove processes the information on its behalf. For our own website and sales (for example, when you book a demo), Wove decides how information is used.

2What we collect

On our website

  • Demo requests: your name, company, work email, phone number if you give it, team size and any message.
  • Visit counts: the page visited, the site you came from and any campaign tag in the link. We don’t use cookies for this: a visitor is an anonymous code that changes every day, made from your network address and browser so we can count visits without following anyone.

In the Wove app (reps and managers)

  • Account details: name, email, company and role.
  • Conversations (Wove Record): while a rep is live, audio of their conversations, transcripts, Wove’s coaching notes and statistics, the time, and the phone’s location when a conversation starts. Quiet audio between conversations is discarded every 25 seconds. Once the homeowner has agreed to recording, the rep’s managers may listen to the conversation live, a few seconds behind; the rep can see when someone is listening. While a rep is live, their phone also shares where they are about every 30 seconds so their managers can see the team on a map; only the latest spot is kept, and it’s removed when they stop being live.
  • Deal details from the CRM: when connected to Salesforce, the open or signed deal’s customer name, contact details, install address and contract terms.
  • Notifications: if a rep turns them on, the browser’s push address so we can tell them a deal is ready to verify.

During a verification (homeowners)

  • Audio: the room is recorded for the length of the verification, including the homeowner’s spoken answers.
  • Answers and results: the confirmations given, a transcript, the risk level and its reasons.
  • Camera check: the camera is used only to confirm the homeowner stays in view. This runs entirely on the device: images are checked and immediately discarded, and no photo, video or face data is stored or sent. We keep only the times the homeowner was in or out of view.
  • Location and time of the verification.

3How we use it

  • To provide Wove: recording and transcribing conversations, coaching reps, running verifications and reporting results to the company.
  • To keep Wove secure and working, and to fix problems.
  • To reply to demo requests and talk with prospective customers.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We don’t use recordings or transcripts to train our own or anyone else’s general-purpose AI models.

4Who helps us process it

We use a small number of service providers, each only to run Wove:

  • OpenAI: transcribing audio and producing coaching, answers and verification checks.
  • Supabase: our database and private file storage.
  • Vercel: hosting the website and app.
  • Stripe: taking payment for Wove plans. Card details go straight to Stripe; Wove never sees or stores them.
  • Salesforce or HubSpot: only when a company connects its own Salesforce or HubSpot account.
  • Browser push services (such as Apple and Google): delivering notifications a rep has turned on.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (with this policy continuing to apply).

5How long we keep it

  • Conversation audio: deleted automatically 90 days after the conversation. Transcripts and coaching notes stay with the company’s account until it deletes them or leaves Wove.
  • Verification audio: kept for 3 years as evidence of what the homeowner confirmed, then deleted automatically. Results, answers and transcripts stay with the company’s account until it deletes them or leaves Wove.
  • Demo requests: kept while we’re in touch, and deleted on request.

A company can ask us to delete its information sooner.

6Security

Recordings are kept in private storage and shared only through signed links that expire. Verification links work once. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting providers. See our security page for more. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell affected customers promptly if a breach occurs.

7Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it or to have it deleted. Homeowners and reps can contact the company they dealt with, or us at privacy@gowove.com, and we’ll help. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

8Children

Wove isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

9Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above, and tell customers directly about significant changes.
