For homeowners

Your information, in plain English

Last updated October 7, 2026

The company you’re buying from uses Wove to make sure you understand your agreement and that its reps treat you fairly. This page explains what that means for you. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

1When a rep talks with you

Your rep may record your conversation with Wove, at the door or at the table, so their company can coach them and check that nothing was promised that isn’t in your agreement. A manager at the company may also listen while it happens, for training. Recording laws differ by state, and the company is responsible for asking your permission where it’s required. You can always ask the rep not to record. Reps using Wove ask at the start of each conversation, and if you say no, that conversation is deleted and nothing is kept.

2When your agreement is verified

Before the work on your home goes ahead, you may be asked to confirm your agreement with Vera, Wove’s verification guide. Vera shows you your own agreement (what you bought, your payment and term) and asks you to confirm each one out loud. It takes about three minutes.

  • Audio is recorded for the length of the verification, so there’s a record of what you confirmed. That record protects you too.
  • The camera only checks you’re there. It runs on your phone, and no photo, video or face data is saved or sent anywhere. Wove only notes when you were in or out of view.
  • Your location and the time are noted with your answers.
  • If something’s wrong, say so. A “no” is recorded and the company is asked to follow up with you.

3Who sees it

The company you’re buying from sees the results, recording and transcript. Wove uses a few service providers to run the service (listed in our Privacy Policy). We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

4How long it’s kept

Audio of conversations with a rep is deleted after 90 days. Verification audio is kept for 3 years as evidence of your agreement, then deleted.

5Questions or deletion requests
